Job description
The County Court Clerk/School Superintendent/Surveyor is a joint position responsible for a court’s non-judicial operations as well as administering the county land survey records, re-establishing and maintaining official government survey monuments, and reviewing property boundaries, surveys, and subdivision plans. Additionally, as school superintendent, they implement the school board's vision by making day-to-day decisions about educational programs, spending, staff, and facilities.
Eligibility requirements
No person is eligible to a county office who at the time of his election is not of the age of voting as required by the Montana Constitution; a citizen of the State; and an elector of the county in which the duties of the office are to be exercised or for which he is elected.
